Salt Lake City, Utah · Decade built

Salt Lake City in the 1910s

William Howard Taft served until 1913 and Woodrow Wilson followed. The Panama Canal opened in 1914 and the country entered the First World War in 1917. The influenza pandemic killed several hundred thousand Americans in 1918. Congress passed the Eighteenth Amendment on prohibition and sent the Nineteenth Amendment on women's suffrage to the states. The stops here are what Salt Lake City has on the register from those years, built between 1910 and 1919.

Every stop carries a construction date in the 1910s. The route covers 10 of them and runs 2.4 miles end to end.

Distances are straight lines between the coordinates in the National Park Service Register data, so the walk on the street will be longer. Nobody has walked or checked this as a route, and a listing does not mean a place is open to visitors. Stops last changed Sep 18, 2026.
